Track Warm Up
Never been on track but dreaming of? Here’s the right course for you: safe tracks, good teachers, the 959 Panigale and a friendly atmosphere for your track first time.
The Track Warm Up Course is the best way to approach the track for those who have little or no experience in circuit riding and want to take their first steps in a safe, controlled and totally unaggressive environment.
The course is designed to fully prepare pupils ahead of their track experience. It is structured so as to teach learners the fundamental concepts for the correct approach to riding.
|Course lenght||One day|
|Participants||Max 50 participants|
|Place||Misano World Circuit/ Mugello Circuit|
|Qualification||A License without power limitations|
The Track Warm Up Course takes place over a day.
The first part of the Course consists of a theoretical briefing that focuses on topics such as: riding position, correct line of vision, braking, steering and acceleration. These topics will then be put into practice with specific exercises that will take place in the paddock. The instructors will then be able to create uniform groups based on the abilities shown by the participants.
Before the track sessions get under way, pupils will meet with the technical director Dario Marchetti to talk about the topics covered as well as any doubts or clarifications. At this point the pupils will begin their on-track training. A specialist instructor will give advice before each session (there are 5 in total), and after each session there will be another briefing to discuss their experiences, comment on the videos filmed by the instructor during the session, ask questions and receive answers.
Thanks to the constant feedback, you will greatly improve your on-track riding abilities and your sense of safety on the bike, finding your style and your lines, particularly when you go back to road riding after the track experience.
A maximum of 50 participants will be split into groups of 5 or 6, each of which will be guided by an expert instructor. No previous track experience is required to participate in this course but solid motorcycling skills are necessary.
The bike used on the Track Warm Up Course is the 959 Panigale.
The required apparel consists of a leather suit, a back protector, a full-face helmet, gloves and boots. Those without the required items will be able to hire technical apparel (D|air suit included) when purchasing the course, subject to availability.
Participants in the Track Warm Up Course are required to hold a class A licence without limitations on engine capacity.
